Interview with Raavi and the Houseplants

We sat down with Raavi Sita, the singer and vocalist of Raavi and the Houseplants, to discuss love of animation, how the band’s writing process has changed since the release of “Don’t Hit Me Up” and what it’s like to be one of the only lesbians that isn’t that into astrology.

Raavi and the Houseplants are a five-piece punk band from Boston, Massachusetts, and self-identified “meme queens.” They were brought together through their love of music, whether it be through choir, basement gigs, or recognizing each other’s band tees at parties.
