Music producer and frequent collaborator 22 22 answered some questions for us!
WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE MEMORY PLAYING SHOWS?
The best memory was to watch 1500 persons dancing & applauding your work in a mythic place (Casino de Paris). It was a hard work for TV to recompose 18 tracks in 2 weeks!! Amazing memories.
WHAT ARTIST WOULD BE YOUR DREAM COLLABORATION?
It could be amazing to be on the ticket with Daft Punk. Thinking about a futurist show about the mindset of glory…
WHAT SONG ARE YOU MOST PROUD OF AND WHY?
For now, I’m so proud of “The Mood” because it’s the beginning of a nice adventure. The first track is very engaged about the problem of domestic violence.
WHAT IS YOUR GO-TO GAS STATION ORDER?
Coffee Coffee Coffee! This is my electric drink & I really love it.
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR NON-MUSICAL INFLUENCES?
I like to go outside, watch old movies and read. It’s like food for my inspiration. The Alchemist by Paolo Cuelho is a good example. In terms of influence, I really like to work on my music with TV on playing a manga on silent mode for instance.
I also really love some books of George Orwell & the Asian philosophy and I appreciate some film makers such as Quentin Tarantino.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE TO YOUR YOUNGER SELF?
Love what you do and do what you love.
“When we love, we always strive to become better than we are. When we strive to become better than we are, everything around us becomes better too.”
― Paulo Coelho, The Alchemist
WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS FOR THE YEAR?
I am working on an album of 12 tracks named “The Angel Number” ready for the mixing step.
But I’m thinking to realize a nice show with singers, dancers, DJ, Musicians around the theme of 22 22 mystery.
My only plan is to develop audience for this project. I tried to focus on that point & to get help from anywhere.
