Q&A with Tarah Who?

Javier Caudillo

What was your first impression of your bandmates when you met?

CH: The first time I met Tarah face to face, it was at Dave&Busters in Hollywood. She was actually questioning me about everything hahahaha !!!!

TGC: Hahaha! Was I? I think I was just making conversation because you were so quiet and shy! lol! I was just trying to figure you out!

What is your favorite memory playing shows?

CH: I don’t really have a favorite one but I love playing shows in different cities and being able to discovering new places.

TGC: Yeah I don’t really have a favorite one either, but every show ends up being a good memory to add to the pile! I would say it was fun and crazy to drive 30 hours straight for our Midwest/ South tour!

What artist would be your dream collaboration?

CH: For me it would be Nightwish, my favorite band. It would actually be interesting to see two different sounds come together.

TGC: I’d say collaborating with Brody Dalle would be pretty epic!

What song are you most proud of and why?

TGC: It is hard to pick one song. They are so personal and I put a lot into each one of them. Each album and EP has its story and they remind me of where I was in my career at the time. I am pretty happy with our latest release because we did it despite Covid restrictions and I tried a different approach to writing as well, because of the lockdown etc…

What is your go-to gas station order?

CH: I’ll say an energy drink and a meat stick, sometimes a chocolate bar for dessert hahaha.

TGC: Most likely water, M&Ms, and sunflower seeds.

What are some of your non-musical influences?

TGC: life in general, people, stories, events, the news, conversations, relationships. Everything, really, nothing or no one in particular, just whatever inspires me in the moment.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

CH: The best advice for my younger self will be, Be more confident in what you are doing.

TGC: Don’t overthink. Trust your guts. You only, know what you want to accomplish and sound like.

What are your goals for the year?

CH: Hopefully be able to play more shows in front of people, I really miss it!!

TGC: We are shooting a music video for a song we are releasing in December. I am currently writing new songs for a new EP for 2022. 🙂
